Exposure Visit – Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry

In a remarkable initiative to foster awareness and understanding of Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness, under its project “FCTEW,” organized an exposure trip for students of Rawalpindi Women University to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). The trip aimed to introduce the students to the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and provide them with valuable insights into the support and opportunities available for aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly women.
The students were warmly received by the administration of RCCI, and Mr. Saqib Rafiq, the esteemed President of RCCI, extended a heartfelt welcome to the Shaoor team and the students of Rawalpindi Women University. During his address, Mr. Rafiq highlighted the pivotal role of RCCI in nurturing and mentoring new entrepreneurs, shedding light on the diverse avenues of assistance offered by the Chamber.
As part of the enriching experience, a short documentary was presented, showcasing the commendable work carried out by RCCI. The documentary served to illustrate how the Chamber actively supports entrepreneurs and fosters a conducive environment for their growth and success.
President Rafiq also emphasized the significance of providing ample opportunities to women entrepreneurs, enabling them to scale their businesses. He underscored the Chamber’s commitment to empowering women in the business community and discussed the vital role it can play in propelling their ventures forward.
Adding to the inspiration of the day, accomplished women entrepreneurs were graciously invited to share their entrepreneurial journeys with the eager students.
